  • Copy of a letter in which Joseph S. Cullinan assures Dr. H. E. Lee that the advisory committee is working diligently with the city and county to save the Houston Negro Hospital. Mr. Joseph S. Cullinan asks Dr. Lee to approach Dr. J. W. Slaughter, Judge W. H. Ward, and Mayor Oscar F. Holcombe to petition that the proposition of having all the Black patients transferred to the hospital be approved.
