  • Pay certificate for William W. Hill in the amount of $174 for three months service as a captain in the Texas Army. Captain Hill was to have commanded Company H, but because of illness he was replaced and remained at Harrisburg in charge of the baggage detail. This scrip is of the C Series, unrecorded, Copy 14, No. 576.
