  • Copy of a letter to Joseph S. Cullinan from W. W. Moore concerning the location of the Houston Negro Hospital in reference to the Jeff Davis Hospital. Mayor Oscar F. Holcombe advises that white doctors and surgeons of Houston would prefer the new hospital be built near the Jeff Davis Hospital so that it be more convenient to them.
