  • Caption: "Long Reach - Buffalo Bayou, near Houston, Texas.", "Long reach is that beautiful stretch of Buffalo Bayou which lies along Magnolia Park. It is 2 1/2 miles in length and begins at Constitution Bend, a place famous from the fact that the old ship "Constitution", in bringing supplies to Sam Houston, could get no further than this point."
