Description
  • Barry Munitz holding a baby Shasta, University of Houston's live cougar mascot. He became Vice President and Dean of Faculties at the University of Houston-Central Campus in 1976 and was made Chancellor in 1977. Munitz left the University of Houston in 1982 to become a senior executive at MAXXAM, Inc. in Houston where he remained until 1991.
