  • Charles V. Kirkpatrick sitting on a table with construction models. He received a BS in petroleum engineering and geology from Texas A & M and MLs from UH in psychology and philosophy. He joined UH as an instructor in 1947. He was named acting dean and then dean of the Cullen College of Engineering. He served as dean from 1964 to 1977.
