Every other\r\nday she feel[s] bad, some times from one cause\r\nand then an other .  Today one of her breasts\r\nis sore and paining her \u0026amp; both her and\r\nthe Baby has sore throat.  I had fixed\r\nupon tomorrow morning to go home \r\nuntil this new complaint made its\r\nappearance.  And again the weather \r\nis too cold for me to be out at night\r\nAs she can get a trusty old negro woman\r\nnow to come every day to see to her \u0026amp; baby\r\nI will be home the first pleasent day\r\nstrange to say I keep perfectly well.  We\r\nkeep up a big fire night and day.  And\r\nmy bed is near the fire.  Sallie\r\nhas been setting up and hour every\r\n--------------------------------------------------\r\nday since Friday last \u0026amp; I think every\r\ntime she gets up she takes cold is the\r\ncause of her feeling so badly today.  so I\r\nam keeping her closely in bed until\r\nthis cold spell is over.  Have you any\r\nwood on hand??  do write me by tomorrows\r\nmail all about my dear home \u0026amp; the \r\ndear ones there   Give Ara Leeps\r\nkind regards \u0026amp;c \u0026amp;c.  I am almost\r\ncrazy to get back but for Sallies\r\nsake I keep it to myself as much\r\nas possible.   She seems so helpless\r\nmuch more so than I had expected from\r\nthe fact of her having a better time than\r\nheretofore.
