I would have\nsent them off yesterday, but for the day\nbeing too cold for me to turn out to attend\n-to having them marked \u0026amp;c \u0026amp;c  I have sold\nmy stove as it did no suit me in all as-\n-pects.  As the house is already rented, \u0026amp; the\nparty anxiously waiting for me to get out\nI think it will be better to move all my \neffects at once as then the trouble will\nbe done.  My old Bureau \u0026amp; washstand\nwill by a little brushing up answer for\na back bedroom until we can get better ones\nI will bring four nice hens \u0026amp; a rooster, and  a\nfew Turkeys with me.  I have some nice\nbutter \u0026amp; a few Eggs will try to get some more\nbefore leaving\n\nNo one knows my dear child\nhow anxiously impatient I am to get settled\nI feel almost worn out, with my poore\n---------------------------------------------------------\nhealth and unsettled condition\nYoung people do not suffer like an old\nperson does from such causes, while\nno blame attaches to you for the delay\nI am sure.  I trust and hope that I may\nnot have to move but once more\nshould it please you our father above to\nspare me here awhile longer.  I find\nit impossible to stand much fatique\ntherefore have worked slowly in pack-\n-ing my effects.  For the last few\ndays I have felt quite well for me\nSam says he is going down Wednesday\nLook for me with him\n\nAffectionately Your\nMother      Mary Jones\n\nI will get a cooking stove when I come\ndown  Look out for my thing any day\nafter tomorow.  I will send you by\nmail a list of everything.  I have been\nat Sallies since last Thursday evening\nMr. Jaycope has been very obliging in\nmany ways.
