  • Copy of a letter to William M. Drake, M.D., from Joseph S. Cullinan conveyed by secretary W. T. Sinclair about misunderstandings at the Houston Negro Hospital. Joseph S. Cullinan responds that he had given up authority to the Advisory Committee, and he attributes misunderstandings to Dr. William M. Drake and others not following the charter and contract with the city. Joseph S. Cullinan supports the Advisory Committee's actions to help the Black people to help themselves.
