I rose this morning be\r\n-fore sunrise, and soon after\r\ndiscovered he had a chill.\r\nthis second chill lasted longer\r\nby in about an hour after it passed\r\noff  he began to perspire, but\r\nlooked very pale and his face\r\nhad a swollen livid look I do\r\nnot like.  I am treating him as \r\nbest I can.  I wish you to\r\nsee Dr. Hudspeth and ask\r\nhim to prescribe for him\r\nsome medicine for present\r\n-----------------------------------------\r\nrelief and a suitable Tonic\r\nI have no doubt this attack\r\nhas come on for want of proper\r\nbracing up t his reduced\r\nsystem after the other attack\r\nit did seem so impossible \u0026amp; seemed\r\nrealy cruel to dose him, any\r\nmore, I hoped that he would\r\nget along without anything more\r\nand realy neglected to give\r\nanything to brace him up\r\nagainst a relaps _  I hope he\r\nmay soon be relieved  if not\r\nH. can prescribe medicine\r\nthat will prepare the system\r\nfor a tonic.  I will add\r\nthat he vomited up a greenish\r\nlooking bile this morning\r\nwhile the chill was on him\r\n\r\nSend up by express as\r\nsoon as you can\r\n------------------------------------------\r\nYou can tell the Doct about\r\nhis late illness, and that\r\nsince his recovery he has\r\nnot gained flesh or strength\r\nas usual,  but I thought\r\nthis owing to the warm\r\nweather, as he seemed\r\nbright \u0026amp; playful.  his\r\nbowels have acted regularly\r\nbut his discharges have\r\nbeen rather too white\r\nshowing that his liver\r\nperhaps did not act as well\r\nas it should.
