What think\r\nyou of the suggestion.  I am\r\nperfectly willing to remain if you\r\nthink it would subserve our in\r\n-terests best.   I will see Mr. Jaycope\r\nsoon.  He has not rented the place\r\nI think there are but few willing \r\nto give $8.00 dol. pr. month.  And\r\nshould you think best for me to\r\nstay here I will try to get it for less\r\n----------------------------------------------\r\nSam is doing a “land office” busi-\r\nness here,  has all he can do from\r\n7 Oclock until dark .  And last \r\nnight took an impression after\r\ndark.   I don’t know when he will \r\nget off,  perhaps tomorrow  if there\r\nis a break in business here.  He\r\nholds our the idea that it is purely to\r\naccommodate of friends that he is\r\nprolonging his stay.\r\n\r\nPoore Mrs. Gregg\r\nhow my heart aches when I think\r\nof her _ sad fate.  Has her Sister come\r\non yet? Sam told me they had\r\ndispatched to her when Mrs. Gregg\r\nreturned to Houston.\r\n\r\nSis’ house is all\r\ntorn up fixing it up,  I am so\r\nglad to see it.  I trust she may\r\nhave better health when she is more\r\ncomfortable.  Let me hear from you \r\nat once.
