They think\r\nhowever that we will have three Democratic\r\nCounty Commissioners elected.  No one slept\r\nAny in this house last night.  Our party have\r\nallowed a few U S Marshal to Bulldoze them\r\nout of the election of the full democratic ticket\r\nand fifteen more of the Montgomery Citizens have\r\nbeen arrested,  so we have just heard\r\n----------------------------------------------------------------\r\nMr. McComb handed the letter you speak of to Gas,\r\nthe night he came up.  Last evening yours of the \r\n2nd Inst with ten dol. bill inclosed reached me\r\nAnd last tho not least, I heard today with\r\nheartfelt gratitude to the Giver of all good things\r\nthat Harris Co. had carried the Democratic ticket\r\nI felt glad for you, and the success of the good cause\r\ntoo.  Would to heaven we could say as much for \r\nthis rotten County.  I have today sent Sam\r\ntwo Papers \u0026amp; written him a note.  Mr Ashe has\r\nbeen of much service here at dinner today she spoke of\r\ngoing down in the morning.
