Today\r\nhe ahs had still an other very slight chill\r\nfolowed by fever. I applied the quinine as\r\ndirected \u0026amp; hope to keep off any more attacks\r\nBut am nearly out of both Tonics, but do  \r\nnot what any more at present of 8482, and\r\nonly want the one No. 8481 June 8th./75\r\nI would like to have you see Dr. Burroughs\r\nand tell him of this return of fever \u0026amp;\r\nchills  perhaps he might suggest something\r\nelse, tell him there is no return of the\r\nswelling except slightly in the right testicle it\r\nbeing the one I called his attention to particula\r\n-rly the day he called to see me \u0026amp; baby.  And\r\nthis swelling disappears after the fevers is\r\noff.  His bowels are in good condition\r\n\r\nThese attacks last only about six or seven\r\nhours, then he is up \u0026amp; calls for something\r\n---------------------------------------------------------\r\nto eat, his appetite is about right, not\r\nmorbid.  All are well Charles foot\r\nis still giving trouble tho nothing serious\r\nhave nothing further from Sam, have\r\nyou??  We are having very warm weather\r\nhad a pretty fair rain yesterday\r\n\r\nAffectionately Your\r\nMother\r\nMary Jones\r\n\r\nI have reason to believe it will be necessary\r\nto keep some Tonic on hand to keep \r\npoor baby up during the hot weather\r\nto it  B will be able no doubt to tell\r\nyou what to get.
