I am as you see a little puzzled\nsince I wrote you last I went up to look at\nour new quarters and like it much\ntho the house is in an unfinished condi-\ntion it is decidedly and airy summer house\ntho in a very pleasent part of the Town \u0026amp;\ncan be made comfortable I hope before the\nwinter comes on.  Gaston has moved the\nmill \u0026amp; is grinding there today, at dinner\ntime had ground fifty bushels \u0026amp; still\nmore corn coming all the time.  We in\n-tend to move next Tuesday if we can\nget a load of our furniture brought in\nfrom the former place of abode where\nthey were left for want of room here\n-----------------------------------------------------\nThis morning I received a letter fro Sam of\ndate May 26th  he was quite well \u0026amp; wrote as\nusual in good spirits, said he had made \u0026amp; put\nin some teeth for a lady from Virginia\nwhich gave great satisfaction, she prom\n-ised to send her friends to him \u0026amp;c \u0026amp;c\nI have nothing of interest to communicate\nthat I can think of  we are having \nvery warm weather which you have\nfound our yourself no doubt,  although\nyou are not surrounded with tall timber\nto obstruct the breeze as we are here\n\nAffectionately your\nMother\nMary Jones.\n\n\nIf convenient send me an other remittance\nby Monday Mail.
