And I never \nsaw any one improve more\nthat “Sis” has in the last three\nweeks.  We have had a terrible\nspell of weather, have had hard\nfreezing.  Gastons Boat is at \nthe Brick yd above Morgans Point\nit was fortunate he was at home\nto get up wood.  Sams Boat is\non the Bar at the mouth of Cedar\nBayou, has been there for ten days\n-------------------------------------------\noh dear I get terrible out with\nBoats as a means of support  it\nis worse if possible than “Grind\ning noses” or equally slow in\nbring[ing] in the where withall  all\nThe past severe cold will I hope\nensure us a fruit crop if\nit does no other damage in\nloss of stock \u0026amp;c\n\nMy letter wil[l]\nbe more like a journal than\na letter  I will try to write you\nonce every two weeks.  I regret\nthis delay as the item of  infor\nmation respecting the Ira Jones\nTitle may be of interest in\ngetting the money from\nAustin.
