Yet I do not feel\nwell  but am keeping in closely\nand doubtless in will feel well\n\u0026amp; alright in a few days. Yesterday\nwas a terrible cold windy day. But\ntoday is quite pleasant.  I find\nnone of my folks here have tight\nwarm houses and I do not think\na long stay will be advisable\nin consequence.  As soon as I\nfeel well enough to go our\nwe are all going up to Julias\n-----------------------------------------\nto Blooming Grove will spend two \nnights and a day there, the\nsame with Sarah Jane Skiles\nand so on, back here. And will \nhold myself in readiness to re\n-turn as I may deem best\nbe the middle or a little past\nthe middle of November at \nany rate before severe cold\nweather sets in as it is so much\ncolder here than down in our \nsection.  My Vien Bethr\nwent home with Squire to help\nhim move, and may not unless\nthe weather continues dry return\nwhile I stay\nMr Johnstons Brother\nis still alive, but still no hopes\nof his recovering at last account\nThursday last.  Elliot has \nnot suffered with cold as\n---------------------------------------\nheretofore is out Today pulling or\npushing an old buggy with\nlittle Robert Skiles he has not had\na severe cough as usual with\ncold tho I kept him in yes\n-terday out of the cold wind\n\nI have had no more spells of fee\n-ling nervious [sic] have gained\nstrength all the time not with\nstanding my having a cold, and\nwith care will feel well in a few \ndays   I trust Tho continue \ntoo much so to write fit to be\nseen\n\nWith much love to Sam\nand yourself  From Your\nMother\nMary Jones\n---------------------------------------\n[written on back of letter]\n\nYours of the29th received last evening contents\nall noted.
