He was here last Sunday \u0026amp; told me\nthat he would certainly come by the last\nof the week,  I shall expect him sometime\ntoday, if he comes at all \n----------------------------------------------------\nI spoke to Bonner about my Goliad Tax\nmatter, he said that man Lane had never\npaid $19;95cts taxes, that it could not be at\nmost more than six dollars, and that it was\non my list \u0026amp; that if I paid it to him by\nthe first of December it would be all\nright - But yesterday I received an\nother form Lane urging me to \nremit the amount without delay and\nat his risk first registering the letter\nand taking a receipt for the same which\nreceipt I would have to send him as\nproof my having registered a letter with\na certain amount or money it \u0026amp;c \u0026amp;c\nI will not however send it even if I have it to\nsend until I can get the advise of some \none upon the subject - And as I have noone\nhere to whom I can apply for advise I will\nsend the letters to you, and I wish you\nto show them to some one upon whose ad-\nvice I can rely \u0026amp; let me have a reply\nand the letters back the first safe\nopportunity - I am so sorry your health \ncontinues poor.
