She is continually\ntaking medicine  to act on her liver \u0026amp; in the course\nof every twenty four hours she vomits up a quantity\nof sometimes yellow bile, but mostly dark greenish\ncolor. In many respects she is afflicted as she was\nafter the birth of Little Dickey - In this case she\nhas had more fever.  The blister has doubtless been of ser\n-vice tho it has pretty much dried up notwithstanding\nI dressed it with cabbage leaves - Her tongue is still\nthickly coated, notwithstanding after all the medicine\nshe has taken - her skin dry - two days ago (at the\ntime the fever was first checked) there was some perspi-\nration came out while she slept - since then it\nhas been dry all the time - I never was so complete\nly at a loss what conclusion to come to Doct Jordan\nthinks that there must be a favorable change\n----------------------------------------------------------------------\nvery soon, that is a decided change for the better\nAs I have before stated she looks badly and cannot\nnot take any nourishment of any kind, not even\nGum arabic water but that she vomits it \nUp.
