Which I have been unable to\ndo on account of the cold \u0026amp; rain, up to\nyesterday.  I could not go out to get up any\nsupplies, and I would not attempt to move\nuntil I had wood \u0026amp;c some supplies gathered\ntogether.  I think I will be able to get a \nfew Chairs here \u0026amp; can get a Cottage bed-\nstead quite cheap that will answer my\npurpose and not cost more than to to clean\nup, and move my large one.  Yesterday I\nbought some sweet Potatoes, and butter, and\nengaged a negro man \u0026amp; team to haul me wood\nand them move me tomorrow if health\nand weather will permit, which I think\nboth are doubtful as it is raining, and\nI am feeling very unwell with an other\ncold, and hard dry cough which makes\nme feel very little like doing anything\n-------------------------------------------------------\nGaston and Mr. Grove reached her last evening via\nMontgomery,  they had a very uncomfor\n-table day of it the first day they left \nHouston they had to swim a creek, and\nevery step their poor horses were plun-\n-ging through the ice.  Gas. says it was\nalike hard upon man \u0026amp; beast\nI fear the bad weather will be a drawback\nto Willies enjoyment tho she will see\nso much that is new to her that doubtless\nshe will feel amply compensated anyhow\nI hope so.
