  • Typewritten letter, signed by Alonso S. Perales, on letterhead stationery of Davis, Wright & Perales, Attorneys at Law, to San Antonio mayor C.K. Quin, asking if he is willing to support an anti-race hatred ordinance, give citizens of Mexican descent proportional representation in city government, work to abolish the “Red Light District,” and promote progress and the general welfare of all the city’s citizens without regard to race, color or creed. At the conclusion, Mayor Quin has penciled and signed a statement agreeing to these propositions. Inscription written along bottom: "Hon. Alonzo Perales: I agree to each and all of the above propositions. Respectfully, C.K. Quinn"
