It \nis said more arrests are contemplated, or\ntalked of by the Radical party, likely\nto occur at any moment.  I hope not \nas excitement is at an undesirable pitch\nalready.  Sallie is engaging scholars\nfor another effort at teaching, will\norganize next Monday but not begin\nteaching until the election excitement\nof next Tuesday is over.  I believe her\nplan is to teach in her own house, and\nof course cannot do much until I can get\nout of the room.  Gaston has not been\npaid for his horse yet that was killed \nby the R Road\n\nTell Mrs. Ashe how much\nI regretted hearing of dear little Sallies illness\nand that I will write her soon.
