  • Copy of a letter to Joseph S. Cullinan and members of the board of the Houston Negro Hospital from J. G. Gathings, Ruport O. Roett, William M. Drake, J. M. Franklin, B. J. Covington, T. A. Patten, and Henry E. Lee of the Harris County Afro-American Medical Society concerning an offer from Mr. Joseph S. Cullinan and the Board to allow the society to utilize the Houston Negro Hospital for their Surgical and Medical Sections of the Lone Star State Medical Association. The society will have to decline the offer due to their inability to meet the expense or the guarantee requested by the Houston Negro Hospital.
