I am going through an other\r\ncourse of medicine which makes\r\nme feel weak.  These waters take out\r\nof ones system all malaria \u0026amp; bile\r\nafter I get through this course will \r\nfeel perfectly well.  You would\r\nsurprised to see how far I can \r\nwalk every day without feeling any\r\nfatigue - I mean when I am\r\nnot taking waters to act on my\r\nliver - My kidneys were power-\r\nfully acted upon the first few\r\ndays after I came here.  Now\r\nthey are acting natural - and\r\nmy poore [sic] weak stomach [sic]\r\nI believe will go home well\r\n----------------------------------------------\r\nnothing I eat disagrees with \r\nme altho we have the poorest\r\ncooking here you ever saw\r\nas to my rheumatism do no \r\nknow yet whether it will be\r\ncured or not.  The soarness [sic] in\r\nmy shoulder \u0026amp; arm has hurt\r\nme less for two days past\r\nthen usual, but there is still\r\nsoreness \u0026amp; pain in my back\r\nbetween my shoulders \u0026amp;\r\nsometimes soreness \u0026amp;  pain\r\nin my head - I cannot tell\r\nyet whether that will be cured\r\n\r\nSallie wrote me the 8th say-\r\ning she was coming but did \r\nnot have a day set to start, and\r\nwants me if possible to stay\r\nuntil  she comes. I would be\r\nglad to be here, as I could be of\r\nmuch service to her. And be\r\n-tween this \u0026amp; the end of the week\r\nwill hear from her again\r\n--------------------------------------------\r\nthat is if she does not put in an \r\nappearance by that time I have\r\nmade all the enquiries for them\r\nand wrote her day before\r\nyesterday - I am in a room \r\nthat would remind you of old\r\nHead Quarters, Log Cabins. But\r\nas rough as it is I am out of all\r\nthe bustle of that old noisey\r\nHotel have four windows be-\r\n-side a wide cool hall to set\r\nin, and pleasant ladies room-\r\n-ing near me.  Judge Perry-\r\nmans three daughters, one\r\nis Mrs Doct. Cook the other\r\ntwo her sisters, and a cousin\r\nof theirs - Sister of the \r\ndistrict attorney of Lib\r\n-berty Co.  a Miss Perryman \r\nalso all very charming\r\nlafies _  Tell Mrs Ashe I would \r\nlike to see her here just one \r\nday in this dirty place\r\n-----------------------------------------\r\nThe Perrymans all live at\r\n liberty\r\n\r\n-----------------------------------------\r\n4th\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nI wish you would kill all\r\nthem old cats I felt afraid\r\nthey would eat all my \r\nlittle chicks - I wrote to\r\nSam Monday.
