Description	This is a typewritten letter from the National American Woman Suffrage Association President Carrie Chapman Catt to the affiliate Presidents of the suffrage organization. Carrie Chapman Catt details what occurred on her trips to Chicago, Des Moines, and St. Louis, the places she had gone to attend Congressional Conferences but also to invite the suffrages of those respective cities to be suffrage hostesses in the National Conventions held in those cities to help advance their cause. Carrie Chapman Catt specifies the political atmospheres toward the suffragettes in those cities and also discusses how in particular each city's suffragettes should proceed to prepare to represent their organization at national (such as upcoming political and campaign) events. She closes the letter by asking if it would be okay to have a National Conference of the Presidents on Tuesday, the 13th in connection with the upcoming Democratic Convention.
